Many years ago our friend Andre introduced us to this way of making nachos. It is easy to layer the ingredients, easier to scoop off the pan and definitely less messy.
Ingredients
Tositos multigrain scoops
Diced cooked chicken or cooked ground beef
PC white corn& black bean salsa
Shredded nacho cheese
Directions
First spread out the scoops onto a baking tray.
A round pizza pan feeds 2 and a larger rectangle cookie sheet feeds 4.
Add 3-4 pieces of diced chicken or a Tbsp of ground beef to each scoop.
Next spoon onto the chicken/beef a generous tsp of the salsa.
The last step is to cover it all in shredded cheese.
Place the pan in a 225° oven just until the cheese is melted.
This lower temperature allows the meat to reheat while the cheese is melting and the cheese doesn’t get crunchy.
Scoop or pull apart and enjoy.
This is a great way to serve nachos to company without everyone having to eat from the same plate.
Another plus is that you can customize portions of the nachos if someone doesn’t like a certain ingredient.
That looks so yummy
